ROYAL RIDER was difficult to load.

MSG FANTASY was slow to begin.

HAPPY MORNING (Imran Chisty) jumped out awkwardly from the gates.

Jockey A Ashhad Asbar (MSG FANTASY) reported that his mount was squeezed out on jumping out and he had to travel wide thereafter to avoid the kick back.

MY WAY OR HIGHWAY (P Tejeshwar) was observed to be struggling to keep pace with the field passing the 800 metres, dropped back at 150 metres and trailed the field. Tr. Paramjit S Jubbal was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.

Jockey Md Imran (WINSANGEL) was observed not to ride out his mount during the running of the race. The Jockey explained that his mount appeared not to be travelling too well and as such he did not put him under pressure. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the mare and submit his report. On examination the mare was found to be :-

a)    Suffering from EIPH Grade 3.

b)    Lame on left hind.

Tr. B Mahesh was informed not to accept with his charge WINSANGEL until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

While returning back from the race WINSANGEL shied from a dog and dislodged the rider.

Jockey Md Imran is under observation after being given the necessary medical attention.

Jockey Kirtish Bhagat (LUCRETIUS) was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for excessive use of the whip (2nd infringement).
Jockey R Manish (ROYAL RIDER) reported that he lost his whip passing the 400 metres. The Veterinary Officer reported that :-

a)    Post race endoscopy of TAMAR revealed that the mare suffered from EIPH – Gr 3. Tr. Rutherford Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

b)    Post race endoscopy of LAHINA revealed that the mare suffered from EIPH - Gr 2.
