Explanation of Jockey S.Saqlain (MISS MARVELLOUS) that his saddle moved forward as such he was unable to ride out his mount to complete advantage. As this confirmed our observation, no action beyond noting the same was taken. Trainer L.D'Silva was fined Rs.2,000/- for failing to take proper care in saddling of his charge whose saddle moved forward during the running of the race.

Explanation of Jockey P.Sai Kumar (BLACK DUST) that his mount took time to pass the runners racing on his inside in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference.

Explanation of Trainer A.Vatsalya with regard to the improved performance of his charge FEDERER (P.Ajeeth Kumar), the winner of this race, who finished off board in the previous three runs that his charge in the past three runs did not show any interest in the races in between quick intervals was as compare to the present run where the gelding had a long break of more than a month which was to his charges advantage and ran to its potential and managed to win the race. The Trainer further added that he had not fancied his charge and was available at longer odds was not accepted and the trainer was fined a sum of Rs.5,000/- for the improved performance of his charge.
