At the start, PLAYER (R Rakesh) took an awkward jump. At the start, BALLAGIO (M B Qureshi) lost about a length. App. Arjun (RINKU ROMEO) reported loss of whip at about 50 meters (1st incident). After the race, Trainer S Nawab informed that he had instructed Jockey R Parvesh (ASHWA GAJRAJ) to go the front however, Jockey R Parvesh has failed to follow the instructions. When questioned Jockey R Parvesh confirmed the instruction and stated that his mount was not keen to go the front therefore, he had used the whip also after travelling about 50 meters from the start and settled the horse in 3rd/ 4th position and did his best however horse has not responded at all in the race. On viewing the race it was noticed that Jockey R Parvesh had tried to go to the front since his mount did not respond he settled in 3rd/ 4th position and in the straight inspite of Jockey efforts horse had not responded. As such the explanation was noted. After the race, Veterinary examination of ASHWA GAJRAJ revealed presence of sharp molars. Trainer S Nawab was fined Rs 3000/- for his negligence and has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness before next accepting to race. |
