DR ASH (Rajesh Kumar M) was slowly away, lost few lengths and did not raise a fluent gallop after the first 200 Metres of the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. G. Y. Rajesh Babu was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

Jockey Laxman Singh, the rider of HIGH SPEED DIVE reported that his mount was hanging out from 900 meters. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Adarsh G., the rider of IL VOLO was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.

Jockey Gaurav Singh, the rider of TRUE PUNCH was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and inconveniencing DR ASH (Rajesh Kumar M) on his outside passing the 200 Metres.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of DEL AVIZ, trained by Mr. S.S. Attaollahi and ridden by Jockey Akshay Kumar in the above race.

It was reported after the race that TRUE PUNCH (Gaurav Singh) returned bleeding from both nostrils. Trainer Mr. M. Rajendra Singh was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

KNOTTY BLUSH (Y. S. Srinath) Sustained punctured wound on right fore fetlock.

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of OXYTOCIN was questioned regarding his riding in presence of Trainer Mr. Warren Singh as to the reason why Jockey A. Ramu was riding in check for the first 300 Metres and thereafter he started riding his mount.

The Trainer stated that this was the way his charge had to be ridden but it used to grab the bit and was inclined to run out and therefore he would always in future also instruct the rider to ride this horse in a similar manner.

The Jockey stated that:-

a)    His mount was too keen and there were horses in front whereby he had to ride in check as instructed by the trainer;
b)    He gradually improved his position thereafter and in the straight he rode out but could only finish 3rd.

Their explanations were noted for future reference.
