Explanation of Trainer D Netto with regard to the improved performance of his charge SHADOW FAX ( B R Kumar) winner of this race, who finished off board in the previous runs that his charge in this race is running with a weaker set of horses as compared to the previous races and also his charge is a choker and has a small dash.  A better Jockey in the saddle, able to position his charge as instructed and just managed to win. The Trainer further added that he had not fancied his charge, was available at longer odds and also stated that he too also surprised with the running of his charge was not accepted and the Trainer was fined Rs.5000/- for reversal of form of his charge.

Explanation of Jockey Mukesh Kumar (LADY DANGER) that his instructions were to sit close 3rd/4th but due to fast initial pace he was unable to position his mount well up with the field in the initial stages of the race and his mount gained ground gradually in the straight. Trainer Magan Singh Parmar while confirming the above added that his charge ran to the potential was noted for future reference.

Veterinary examination of PONTEFRACT (Alex Rozario) revealed that though the mare was trotting sound but has sharp molars on both sides.
