At the start, BAY OF BISCAY (Naresh Kumar) was slowly away.

On being questioned regarding running and riding of ROYAL BABY Trainer Mohsin Khan stated that he had instructed his jockey to be in a 2nd / 3rd position and to do his best in the straight and when asked about his observation of the race he stated that he jumped out well and was in a decent position however, jockey did not maintain the position and went back and was not satisfied with his riding.

Jockey R Yousaf stated that he was instructed to sit 3rd / 4th and to do his best in the straight. He was asked that why he dropped back during the race when he was in a decent position after the start, he stated that other horses passed him with a fast pace therefore he dropped back. Replay of the race was shown to both of them and pointed out that for no apparent reason he dropped back and not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by jockey both were presented before the Stewards.

After the last race, the Stewards interviewed Trainer Mohsin Khan and jockey R Yousaf and after hearing submission made by the stipendiary Stewards and viewing the replay of the race they held jockey R Yousaf guilty of unsatisfactory riding and decided:

1.    To suspend Jockey R Yousaf license from 23/03/2025 to 02/04/2025 (both days inclusive).

2.    He was cautioned for future and reminded of his right to appeal.

Veterinary examination of ROYAL BABY revealed no apparent abnormality.
