Racing Incidents

An objection was lodged by App. Arjun (ASHWA MANSLU) placed 4th by the judge against Jockey Mukesh Kumar (ANGEL IN MY HEART) placed 1st by the judge “for coming on to me. Bumping me and taking my ground soon after the jump due to which I had to stop my mount badly and lost the pace and position which cost me a certain race.

The Stewards interviewed the jockey concerned and having heard the submission made by the Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their own judgment of the race the Stewards decided to overrule the objection.

Veterinary Examination of ASHWA MANSLU revealed no apparent abnormality.
