Racing Incidents

At the start, NASHVEGAS (Jai Parkash) lost about a length.

Trainer S M Abbas and Jockey Jai Parkash were fined Rs.5,000/- each for unsatisfactory running and riding of NASHVEGAS.

An enquiry has been opened into the improved performance of EASTERN CROWN.

After the race, JUGGAAD was observed to have broken a blood vessel and not to race for a stipulated period of four weeks. Trainer S M Abbas has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.

Veterinary examination of NASHVEGAS revealed no apparent abnormality.
