Racing Incidents

At the start, GIANT GOLD (App. Mustakim Alam, dr.8) jumped out awkwardly and had to be steadied.

Passing the 1200 metres, ABHICANDRA (R. Ajinkya) leaned outwards onto TROPICAL PARADISE (T. S. Jodha) who in turn shifted out and carried CARADOC (A. Sandesh) outwards. Jockey R. Ajinkya has been cautioned.

Passing 900 metres, due to a tightly packed field ABHICANDRA (R. Ajinkya) leaned inwards thereby tightening and inconveniencing BEE MAGICAL (Neeraj Rawal).

Passing the 300 metres, ABHICANDRA (R. Ajinkya) shifted in thereby tightening BEE MAGICAL (Neeraj Rawal) along the rails causing the latter to be checked. After the race, Jockey R. Ajinkya reported that his mount hung-in in the straight, despite his efforts. The colt was subjected to veterinary examination which revealed that the colt had a wolf tooth on the right side. Trainer Sanjay Kolse has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

Jockey A. Sandesh (CARADOC) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his 2nd offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2024/25, he has been fined Rs.5,000/-.
