The Stewards after interviewing Jockeys Vinay Jaiswal and P Trevor, viewing the CCTV replay of the race and taking into consideration the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Stewards, decided to overrule the objection and let the Judge’s placings to remain unaltered. The “All Clear” signal was ordered to be hoisted.

The Veterinary Officer reported that HERMES returned lame on its left hind. Tr. Rutherford Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
