MADRAS CHEQUE was difficult to load.

BANDUK WALI (Imran Chisty, drawn 3) bumped into MADRAS CHEQUE (P Trevor, drawn 4) soon after the start.

Jockey Nikhil Naidu (DUBAI STAR) reported that his right rein snapped passing the 1000 metres and his mount veered out alarmingly. He eased up his mount and brought it to a halt with great difficulty and as such it did not finish the course. Subsequent examination revealed that the equipment was in serviceable condition, as such no action, beyond noting the incident, was taken.
