Racing Incidents

SNOWPIERCER and AEROPOLI were slow to begin.
 
AEROPOLI once again drifted out in the concluding stages of the race when placed under pressure causing AABUSHAN to be checked by its rider. While Jockey Vivek G was advised to exercise greater control over his mounts in future, Tr. Aashay Doctor was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.

Jockey Md. Sameer (SNOWPIERCER) was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for excessive use of the whip (1st infringement).
The Veterinary Officer reported that :-

a)    AABUSHAN returned lame on its right hind. Further, the colt was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be suffering from right testicular retraction into the groin. Tr. Patrick Quinn was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

b)    AUSTRALIA returned lame on its left fore. Tr. Rajesh Narredu was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
