Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu was fined Rs.25,000/- by the Stewards for his negligence in discharge of his duties as a trainer for having accepted his charge MIDNIGHT BLUE (Suraj Narredu) to run in the above race. In that he failed to adhere to withdrawal period of the Medication Rules (“Multi vitamins injection and intravenous Amino Acid (Amino bottles) or Lipids (Lipid bottles) can be given 72 hrs before Race Day with cut- off time being 12 noon”), thereby contravening Rule No. 114 (b) (i) of the B.T.C Rules of Racing.

In that he failed to adhere to withdrawal period of the Medication Rules (“Multi vitamins injection and intravenous Amino Acid (Amino bottles) or Lipids (Lipid bottles) can be given 72 hrs before Race Day with cut- off time being 12 noon”), thereby contravening Rule No. 114 (b) (i) of the B.T.C Rules of Racing.

MAHLER (P. Trevor) bolted on the way to the saddling yard and ran riderless on the sand track for more than 600 Metres. On immediate examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer, it was found to have sustained injury on right fore both bulbs of heel. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

VORFREUDE (K.G. Likith Appu) was examined at the saddling enclosure and was found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was observed that HYPERDRIVE (R. Vaibhav) raced fiercely between the 1000 Metres till about 700 Metres.

Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of DEVATE reported that his mount was making a roaring noise and stopped galloping in the final 200 Metres. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
