As Jockey Akshay Kumar was certified medically unfit to ride. Permission was granted to trainer Mr.Prasanna Kumar to declare Jockey Antony Raj S to ride REFRESHMENT in place of the declared rider.

REFRESHMENT (Antony Raj S.) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.Prasanna Kumar was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
