BIG BAY (Yash Narredu) jumped awkwardly outwards onto SOVEREIGN KING (Antony Raj S.) soon after the start.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of FYNBOS reported that he could not get a clear run between the 250 Metres and 200 Metres due to a closely packed field.

An enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Stewards into the interference caused by Jockey Antony Raj S., the rider of SOVEREIGN KING in the above race. In that he shifted 'in' and bumped FYNBOS (P. Trevor) approaching 700 Metres, whereby FYNBOS (P. Trevor) was unbalanced and he further shifted 'in' & caused interference to BIG BAY (Yash Narredu), which in turn passed it onto SHINE (A. Sandesh) on his inside approaching 200 Metres.

Jockey Antony Raj S was interviewed by the Stipendiary Steward. The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey Antony Raj S and after viewing the CCTV replay decided to charge Jockey Antony Raj S for Careless Riding.

The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Antony Raj S on 14/06/2025 as he had pleaded guilty to the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount SOVEREIGN KING (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of FYNBOS had to check his mount to avoid striking the front runner ALFONSINE (Vivek.G) approaching 200 Metres.

Compulsory urine and blood samples were taken for analysis from the following I,II & III placed horses viz;
