Racing Incidents

There was a very heavy down pour before and during the running of the race.

SEA OF CHARM was sluggish to start. Tr. B Rajender Reddy was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial.

SEA OF CHARM and N R I FANTASY were slow to begin.

DUBAI KING (dr 4) and KERRYGOLD (drawn 5) jumped awkwardly from the gates bumping into each other, in the process SPORTING TRAINER was inconvenienced.

Jockey P Trevor (IMPRESSIVE ANNIE) stated that due to the poor visibility caused by the heavy down pour during the running of the race, he had to steady his mount for his safety and that of the other runners and also reported that Jockey Hindu Singh shifted in, he had to check his mount momentarily, was noted.

Owing to the heavy down pour, the Stewards, RCTC, in exercise of their powers under the RCTC Rules of Racing, decided to cancel the remaining races of the day for the safety concern of the Jockeys and horses.
