Racing Incidents

BLINKY BILL and FRESH HOPE were difficult to load.

DALI SWIRL, WORDSMITH, CELTIC HARLEQUIN and THE GENERAL were slow to begin.

BLINKY BILL drifted to the outer portion of the race track passing the distance post.

THE GENERAL trailed the field. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the gelding and submit his report. On examination the gelding was found to be trotting sound. Tr. Patrick Quinn was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.

The Veterinary Officer reported that :-
a)    BLINKY BILL returned with an eye injury.
b)    Post race endoscopy of b m RAISSA revealed that the mare suffered from EIPH (Gr I). Further, on trotting it was found to be lame on right fore. Tr. Sabeel Shariff was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
