On a request from Trainer Karthik Ganapathy, BEZALEL was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at 10:00 a.m. on 16th August 2025 at the stables and was found to be sore by right fore. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race, was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

MIRACLE OF HANUKAH (Akshay Gaikwad, dr.8) jumped out awkwardly at the start.

TIMELESS FORTUNE (Yash Narredu, dr.2) was marginally slow to begin and jumped inwards.

After the Race ,an objection was lodged by Jockey C. Umesh rider of EL MORAN placed second by the judge against Jockey Yash Narredu rider of TIMELESS FORTUNE placed first by the judge, reason being “In the last 200 metres, the winner came in sharply and bumped me twice thereby losing my stride and causing my horse to stumble whereby I could have fallen and ruined my race”. The Stewards having heard the submissions made by both Jockeys and having watched the replay of the race on the CCTV, in conjunction with the Stipendiary Stewards and acting on their own observations of the race decided to overrule the objection and the order of placing remained unchanged.

However, the Stewards held Jockey Yash Narredu guilty of careless riding on his mount TIMELESS FORTUNE, due to a lack of quorum after the last race, the matter has been deferred.

After the race, MINISTRY OF TIME was trotted and found to be sound.
