Racing Incidents

Approaching the 200 metres, MONEY BAGS (Antony Raj S.) lost its footing and stumbled.

From the 200 metres, SOCIAL BUTTERFLY (A. Sandesh) was observed to have maintained an erratic course thereby tightening and inconveniencing DARCY (Vivek G.) racing along the rails on more than one occasion. After the race on questioning, Jockey A. Sandesh stated that his mount leaned-in despite his efforts. As such, Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.

Jockey Yash Narredu (FOURTH WING) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence during the current Pune Meeting 2025, he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

After the race, MONEY BAGS was trotted and found to be sound.

After the race, DARCY was observed to have an injury on its right hind fetlock.

The Equine Hospital reported the following :

BISHOP had right eye injury (sore).

MATISSE had both eye injuries (sore).
