Racing Incidents

MOUNTAIN JEWEL (Kuldeep Singh (Sr) jumped out slowly out losing about 6 or 7 lengths. SSC revoked.

An objection lodged by Jockey Y S Srinath (MOON STAR) placed 4th by the Judge against Jockey Mukesh Kumar (NORTHERN WAVES) placed 2nd by the Judge that “he continuously traversing from about the 400 mtrs and crossing in sharply and cutting me off in the last 100 mtrs thereby I lost a certain place” was overruled by the Stewards of the Club and judges placings remained unchanged.

However, Jockey Mukesh Kumar (NORTHERN WAVES) was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards of the Club for maintaining an erratic course in the straight in the process causing interference to MOON STAR (Y.S.Srinath) in the final 50 mtrs.
