Consequent to Jockey P. Uday Kiran having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey G Naresh to be substituted on CARAXES.

DESERT SULTAN (Gaurav Singh) jumped out slowly losing about 6 or 7 lengths, SSC revoked.

Jockey B R Kumar (PERFECT LIGHT) was fined Rs.5000/- for excessive and improper use of the whip.

Explanation of Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (BHAIRAVA) that his mount veered out while negotiating the final bend, shifted out further on to outer part of the race track at about the 400 mtrs in the process forced out PERFECT LIGHT (B R Kumar) inspite of his best efforts. The Jockey further opined that his mount was not comfortable while galloping. Trainer A. Vatsalya while confirming the above added that soon after the race, he observed that his charge has pulled up its testicles in the race as such shifted out in the straight under pressure was noted.
