ENCINO (A. Sandesh, dr.1) was reluctant stalled. As such, Trainer Nirad Karanjawala has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
At the start, BISHOP (R. Ajinkya, dr. 7) jumped out and carried CHALLENGE ACCEPTED (Mukesh Kumr, dr.8) outwards causing the latter to be steadied.
 
Passing the 400 metres, ZACHARIAS (Vivek G.) racing on the haunches of WAITARA (C.Umesh) and ENCINO (A. Sandesh) was held up for room and had to be steadied.
 
BAYCHIMO (Antony Raj S.) was observed to have shied outwards in the final stages of the race. Trainer Niraj Karanjawala has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
 
After the race Jockey Mukesh Kumar (ICE OF FIRE) reported that his mount was not galloping fluently. After the race, the filly was trotted sound.
 
After the race, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED was trotted and found to be sound.
 
The Equine Hospital reported the following:
 
GUNSMOKE had both eye injuries (sore).
 
BISHOP had left eye injury (sore) with ulcer.
 
ICE OF FIRE had left eye injury (sore).

Due to heavy rains and the underfoot conditions not being conducive for Racing, the Stewards of the Club have decided to cancel the 6^th & 7^th race of the day
