Racing Incidents

Jockey C Umesh, the rider of EMPRESS BELLA reported that his mount was hanging out from the 800 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 

Jockey Salman Khan, the rider of D ROMAN POWER reported that his mount was hanging ‘in’ after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 

Jockey Ankit Pal, the rider of SORRENTO SECRET was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st Infringement). 

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of SUNWAY LAGOON, trained by Mr. Ranjeet Shinde and ridden by Jockey A Ramu in the above race.
 
MEGHANN (Laxman Singh) sustained small injury on left hind below stifle.
