Explanation of Jockey Imran Chisty (AOS SI) that his instructions were to sit close 3rd/4th but his mount took a fly jump and thereafter took time to gallop in the initial stages of the race and in the straight when there was a gap in between the horses, his mount was hesitant to take that gap, as such he was forced to shift out in the straight to make his move and thereafter he did his best. Trainer R H Sequeira while confirming the above added that his charge is always sluggish at the start and in this race the filly ran to her potential was noted for future reference.

Explanation of Jockey G. Naresh (RANI RUCKUS) that his mount jumped out slowly and lost about 4 lengths, as such he could not position his mount as instructed and in the straight his mount did not respond to his urging and dropped back inspite of his best efforts. Trainer K. Robin Reddy while confirming the above added that he too was baffled with the running of his charge and he has no plausible explanation to offer to his charges dismal performance.  The Trainer further added that he had fancied his charge as the filly was run for the first time in the lower category, was noted for future reference. Subsequent Veterinary examination of the filly revealed that though the filly was trotting sound but has sharp molars on both sides. Trainer K. Robin Reddy was fined Rs. 2000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for a race.

Explanation of Jockey Mukesh Kumar (BOLD INDIAN) that his mount was trying to run out in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer S S F Hassan was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.
