Racing Incidents

DUBAI PRINCESS (K. Nazil, dr.2) lost about a length at the start.

At the start, MARKET KING (N. S. Parmar, dr.3) was observed to have lost its footing and stumble.

Passing the 600 metres, MAGILETO (P. Trevor) leaned in onto MARKET KING (N. S. Parmar) who in turn shifted in thereby tightening CONSTABLE (A. Prakash) racing along the rails. After questioning all concerned, Jockey P. Trevor has been fined Rs.2,000/-.  

Approaching the 150 metres, CHRISTOPHANY (Neeraj Rawal) shifted out under pressure and made contact with DUBAI PRINCESS (K. Nazil).

After the race, CHRISTOPHANY was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by right fore. As such, the mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

After the race, the V.O. reported the following:

MARKET KING was observed to have an injury on its right hind bulb of heel.

DREAM SELLER was trotted and found to be sound.

The Stewards of the Club at their meeting held on Sunday, 28th December 2025 interviewed Trainer Nazzak B. Chenoy regarding the Confirmatory Analysis Report dated 25th December 2025 from Laboratory of Racing Chemistry, Japan, in respect of the sample of urine taken from her charge SHAMBALA (Winner) in Race No.123 – The Noshir & Dolly Dhunjibhoy Sprint Million (Grade 3) run on 12th October 2025, which read as under:-

Test Result “POSITIVE FOR LAMOTRIGINE”.

A copy of the above report was handed over to her and she was asked to continue her own enquiries and to lead evidence, if any, to prove mitigating circumstances, within 15 days and to also attend the enquiry to be held by the Stipendiary Stewards and the Sr. Veterinary Officer of the Club, as and when she would be required to.

Further, as per the Medication Rules, the Stewards of the Club decided to disqualify SHAMBALA (Winner) in Race No.123 – The Noshir & Dolly Dhunjibhoy Sprint Million (Grade 3) run on 12th October 2025 and revised the order of placing of the race as under:-.

MAGILETO - FIRST
DUBAI PRINCESS - THIRD
CHRISTOPHANY- SECOND
DREAM SELLER - FOURTH
