COLT PISTOL (App. Sonu Kumar) was observed to have developed swelling over left hind fetlock. As such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.
 
MISS MARVELLOUS (Md. Ismail) was observed to be trotting lame on left hind probably due to back sprain. As such the mare was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.
 
SHAH OF IRAN (Surya Prakash) and GOLD GIVER (Md.Ekram Alam) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths respectively.
 
Explanation of Jockey Mukesh Kumar (MISS SMILEY ANGEL) in the presence of Trainer G. Shashikanth that his instructions were to sit close 3rd/4th which he tried to follow until entering the straight, his mount stumbled at about the 300 mtrs and thereafter did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts. Trainer G. Shashikanth while confirming the above opined that his charge ran in similar fashion in the previous race and other than this he had no plausible explanation to offer to his charges poor performance.  The Trainer further added that he fancied his charge.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly was observed the shoe on left fore has become loose. However, the filly was trotting sound after the race.   The Trainer has been informed that an enquiry has been opened into the dismal performance of his charge MISS SMILEY ANGEL (Mukesh Kumar).
 
Explanation of Trainer K. Satheesh with regard to the inconsistent running his charge ROLLS ROYCE (Abhay Singh) winner of the race who finished off board in the previous race that his charge always ran consistently in all his races except in Race No. 132, where due to fast initial pace, the Jockey failed to go to the front and sat 2nd and also his charge was in the contention upto about 200 mtrs and faded in the final 100 mtrs as compare to the present race which being 7 furlong and due to slow initial pace, the Jockey was able to go to the front and set his own pace and also his charge met with weaker set of runners and went on to win the race. The Trainer further added he has not fancied his charge and was available at longer odds was not accepted and the Trainer was fined Rs.5,000/- for inconsistent performance of his charge in a short span of time.

MISS SMILEY ANGEL (Mukesh Kumar) placed 5th in the race is sampled.
