Racing Incidents

Tr. B Rajender Reddy and Jockey Hasib Alam when questioned regarding the running and riding of VENENO, the trainer stated that he had instructed the Jockey to take a good jump, position his mount 2 / 3 lengths in the lead and do his best in the straight. He further stated that as the mare was allowed to take a long lead, it had nothing much left to offer on entering the straight. Jockey Hasib Alam stated that he followed the Trainer’s instructions but did not realise that his charge had taken an unduly long lead as his mount was travelling well within itself but did not have much to offer in the final run, was noted.
