ROMAN SPIRIT was slow to begin.

CELTIC HARLEQUIN fly jumped out from the gates.

Tr. B Mahesh and Jockey R Vaibhav when questioned regarding the running and riding of LA DOMINATE, the trainer stated that his instructions to Jockey R Vaibhav (LA DOMINATE) were to take a good jump, place the horse 2 – 3 lengths behind the front runners, take a cover, not to push hard since it was a seven furlong race and even if he was sitting last no problem but to make his move approaching the bend and do his best. The Jockey corroborated the Trainer’s instructions. The Stipendiary Stewards noted their explanations. However, Tr. B Mahesh was instructed to ensure that his charge is run and ridden in a similar manner in its future outings.

Jockey Mukesh Kumar (Hy) was fined a sum of Rs. 10,000/- for dropping his hands before passing
 
the winning post, thereby losing 3rd place and was warned to be more careful in future.
