Jockey Pavan, the rider of HYPERDRIVE reported that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering the straight. Trainer Mr.Irfan Ghatala was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

An enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Stewards into the interference caused by Jockey L. Alex Rozario, the rider of EAGLE EYE in the above race. “Passing the 250 Meters he has not maintained a proper course, in that he shifted ‘in’ and tightened the horses viz; XANTHE (A. Sandesh) and GLORIOUS STRIDES (A.A. Vikrant) along the rails. Thereafter, he failed to take corrective measures and allowed his mount, to further shift ‘in’ and caused interference to XANTHE (A. Sandesh) at a very crucial stages of the race i.e., in the final 50 Metres”.

Jockey L. Alex Rozario was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary  Stewards  after  considering  the  submissions  made  by  Jockey
L. Alex Rozario and after viewing the CCTV replay, they decided to charge Jockey L. Alex Rozario for Careless Riding.

The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to L.Alex Rozario for two race days (i.e., 28/11/2025 & 06/12/2025) as he had pleaded guilty to the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount EAGLE EYE (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of XANTHE placed 2nd by the judge objected against Jockey L. Alex Rozario, the rider of EAGLE EYE placed 1st "In the last 400 Metres, the winner shifted onto me and whereby I had to shift onto the rails. Further in the last 100 Metres to 50 Metres, he has bumped me where I checked my mount which cost me a certain race. He also whipped my horse on the face between 100 Metres to 50 Metres”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to uphold the objection and revise the order of placings as under:

Jockey A.A. Vikrant, the rider of GLORIOUS STRIDES placed 3rd by the judge objected against Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of XANTHE placed 2nd "In the last 150 Metres he shifted on my inside, whereby I had to ease my horse and shift my mount, which cost me a certain race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

JOYFUL SPIRIT (Salman Khan) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f XANTHE.
