Racing Incidents

Jockey R. Robert, the rider of OUT INTO SPOTLIGHT reported that his mount was hanging 'in' throughout the race. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr.Prasanna Kumar was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Darshan N, the rider of SASSY SARAH was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing STALINGRAD (Pavan) on his inside rounding the final bend.

It was reported after the race that BEZAWADA BAASHA (A.A. Vikrant) returned bleeding from both nostrils (EIPH). Trainer Mr.Joseph B. Awale was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of STALINGRAD trained by Mr.Irfan Ghatala and ridden by Jockey Pavan in the above race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SASSY SARAH.
