SQUARE CUT (N Arvind Kumar) was examined at the Starting Gates by the Club’s Veterinary officer was found to be trotting lame on right hind. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under starter’s orders. Trainer Mr. G T Surender was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with again.

GRACE (B Darshan Anthony) planted, lost many lengths at the start and did not take any practical part in the race. Jockey A R Pradeep, the rider of BRAVE TROOPER was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race and he was further cautioned that a similar manner of riding will entail him being reported to the Stewards for strict disciplinary action.
