BALTIMORE (Salman Khan) bolted, dropped the rider on the way to the starting gates and thereafter, ran in an anti-clockwise direction, on the inner sand track. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's order.

SHAHENSHAAH (K. Sai Kiran) took a fly jump soon after the start and lost few lengths. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. K Pradeep Annaiah was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
