Racing Incidents

HERMES (A Prakash, drawn 2) jumped outwards from the gates causing interference to MACCHIATO (drawn 3), DUBAI PRINCE (drawn 4) who in turn went onto MSG FANTASY. Jockey A Prakash was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for failing to exercise greater control over his mount and warned to be more alert at the start.

Jockey A Prakash when questioned regarding the riding instructions on his mount HERMES, stated that he was instructed to take a good jump, place his mount in front position and to do his best, however, on entering the straight his mount had nothing left to offer and finished the race detached from the field, was noted. Tr. Rutherford Alford was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.
