Racing Incidents

KINDRED SPIRIT reluctantly jumped out from the gates. Jockey Hasib Alam was advised to be more alert at the start.

Tr. Shafiq Khan when questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge CHILILADY as compared to its previous outing in Race No. 28 held on 23rd November, 2025, stated that :-
a)    In its last run in spite of being drawn 14, the mare managed to run in the first three horse bunch, till past the bend.

b)    There were no common horses in this race.

c)    If you go through the performances of the other runners you will find that except for JAMAICA which returned lame, the other runners did not have much of a form to go by. Two horses were running for the first time this season after coming from Bangalore. So it was an open race.

d)    I was quietly confident that after a break of almost two weeks and with the smaller field, she would run a good race and it ran as per expectations.

While noting his explanations, Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised to ensure that his charges run with a degree of consistency in future.

The Veterinary Officer reported that JAMAICA returned lame on its left fore.  Tr. Javed Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
