Racing Incidents

CASH N RUN and AMAZE AND INSPIRE were slow to begin losing approximately 4 – 5 lengths at the start. Trs. Sabeel Shariff and Shyam S Habbu were advised not to accept with their respective charges until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial.

Jockey Chethan Gowda (BRAVE MAJESTY) was reprimanded for the incompetent riding on his mount. Further, Tr. Neil Darashah was advised to be discreet in declaration of Jockeys on his charges to ensure that they are given the best opportunity in the race.

HERMOD was denied a clear run at about the 300 metres while attempting a run on the rails.

The Veterinary Officer reported that SCHOENBERG returned bleeding from its nostrils. Tr. Vijay Singh was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
