Racing Incidents

Tr. Deepesh Narredu was warned for parading his charge LEGACY late in the paddock without any justifiable reason.

ALDILA jumped from the gates throwing its head around. Thereafter, the gelding was observed to travel wide from about the 800 metres, even wider around the final bend and the Jockey was observed not to “get into” his mount till the 300 metres of the race. Jockey Md Azharuddin (ALDILA) was fined a sum of Rs. 10,000/- for the indifferent handling of his mount. Further, Tr Rutherford Alford and Jockey Md. Azharuddin were finally warned to ensure that their charges are run and ridden in such manner that leaves no room for query.

VICTORIOUS OMEN was slow to begin.

Jockey P Tejeshwar (TRUE FAITH) was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for allowing his mount to drift out during the last 150 metres of the race in a tightly packed field.

On the morning of 2nd January, 2026 BLINKY BILL was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be lame on its left fore. Tr. Neil Darashah was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
