Racing Incidents

On his way to the starting gate AEGIR (R. N. Manjhi) was withdrawn on veterinary grounds as the gelding reared up and dropped the rider. Jockey was injured and declared unfit to ride by the club’s medical officer.

At the start, ALEXANDER (K. Sunny Kumar) lost about many lengths. Trainer Imdad Ali Khan has been asked to give sufficient gate practice to the satisfaction of the Starter before accepting next to race.

AEGIR was found to be lame by its right hind leg. Trainer Raj Kumar Saini has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.

Veterinary examination of DIVIT revealed no apparent abnormality.
