ch g STAR PRIDE, a declared starter in the race was found to have suffered a cut injury on its head and was withdrawn on Veterinary Grounds on the morning of Friday, 6th February 2026.

ROYAL MEMBER, BLAZING BLACK, FLAMING GREY and AMALFITANA were slow to begin.

Jockey M S Deora(DIAMOND GOLD) reported that his mount was racing keenly and shifted in passing the 800 metres, in the process A WINK ANNDA SMILE clipped his mount, was noted.

Jockey Sah Farid Ansari(GODSEND DIVINE) was severely reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift in onto the inner rails in the final 100 metres whereby A WINK ANNDA SMILE making progress on the inside had to be steadied by its rider.

Tr Rutherford Alford when question regarding the improved performance of his charge GODSEND DIVINE as compared to its previous run in Race No 93 stated:

“1. In its last start on 11th January, I had instructed Jockey Antony Raj to take a good jump, settle in 4th/ 5th position and to do his best.

2.    The last run, she jumped out slow and was used up by the rider to take a position. She has a tendency of jumping slow.
3.    My charge also got carried wide and was interfered with, came up with a run but ran out of steam.

4.    In Race no 124, I had given similar instructions, the mare was positioned in 4th behind my other runners and she came up with a run and won. She did not miss the jump either.

5.    The gap between the two runs may also have helped her.

6.    My other 3 runners in the race are still maidens and I would have been happy even if any other runner would have won.”

His explanation was noted.
