Racing Incidents

On arrival at the starting gate, at the request of Jockey A. S. Peter, ASHWA ALMATY was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O., who certified her fit to race.

PURE (N. S. Parmar, dr.5) threw its head up, jumped out awkwardly thereby losing a length at the start.

At the start, SENTINEL (Bhawani Singh, dr.12) jumped inwards onto BAKLAVA (App. S. Siddharth, dr.11) causing the latter to stumble and brush the haunches of JAISALMER (App. Mustakim Alam, dr.10).

After the race, the V.O. reported the following:

SENTINEL was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by right fore. As such, the gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

ASHWA ALMATY was trotted and found to be sound.
