CASCADE once again arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. As Tr. Vikash Jaiswal had earlier been warned and fined for the late arrival of his charges, he has now been fined a sum of Rs. 5,000//- for the same.

AMAZE AND INSPIRE and VENENO were slow to begin.

Tr. V Ajith Kumar when questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge QUEEN ANULA as compared to its previous runs in this season stated that :-

1. The mare had come down in class and running in a 21-46 race after almost 2 yrs.

2. The mare had run with better horses in the upper class this season .

3. His charge had developed gate issues in the last few starts and I gave gate practice with Jockey R.Vaibhav in barrier trials, which helped the mare to take good jump today.

4. I have given more than 2 weeks break for this horse which also helped the mare to recover well and do well.

5. In this set most of the horses were inconsistent performers and few came from lower category, which helped my ward to come out well as she had seen some best horses in her past.

6. The change of jockey also helped the horse to perform well as she ran well with him in Race No. 105 where she finished 6th behind FABLE who was twice winner in that class.

7. I was confident for place because of youngsters running along with her, but the mare ran an impressive race and I'm happy with the result.

The Stipendiary Stewards not being satisfied decided to continue with the enquiry.
