Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar rider of GOLDEN UNICORN having weighed out 2 1/2 kgs over than the declared weight, which is not permissible as per the norms, and no Jockey being available to replace, at the request of Trainer S. Sreekanth, the horse was permitted to be withdrawn.  Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar was fined Rs. 5000/- for failing to weigh out as per the norms.
 
Explanation of Jockey Neeraj Rawal (DIVINE FAITH) that his mount scraped the gates and was also slow into stride losing about 1 or 2 lengths and thereafter his mount gained ground gradually in the straight inspite of his best was noted for future reference.
 
RATE OF INTEREST (G. Naresh) trailed the field throughout the race and finished the course at the rear end of the field.
