As Jockey Mukesh Kumar (HYD) was certified medically unfit to ride his mount THESSALIAN in the above race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to declare Jockey Antony Raj S. to ride THESSALIAN in place of the declared rider.

Jockey Shreyas Singh S, the rider of SPLENDID DREAM reported that his mount clipped the heels of the front runner and stumbled approaching the 400 meters.

Jockey Shreyas Singh S, the rider of SPLENDID DREAM reported that his mount was hanging 'in' from the 600 Metres onwards. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi and Jockey Akshay Kumar were questioned with regarding the running and riding of CIRCLE OF DREAMS in the above race.

The trainer stated as follows:-

1)    That he had not given any specific riding instructions to his rider and had advised him to ride his own race and do his best in the straight;
2)    The horse was running for the first time after being gelded & had also undergone a tie-forward surgery.

3)    The horse had a known habit of bolting and so he has asked his rider to settle it and ride it off the pace.

4)    The trainer expressed satisfaction with the horse’s performance.
 
Jockey Akshay Kumar corroborated the statements of the trainer and their explanations were noted for future reference.
