LEX LUTHOR (Rayan Ahmed R.) planted and did not take any practical part in the race. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.Kishan Thomas K was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least two Mock Races.

FRIYA (Indrajeet Kumar) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Praveen Jesu was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

Trainer Mr. Azhar Ali and Jockey Akshay Kumar were questioned regarding the poor performance of AGAPE in the above race.

The trainer stated as follows:-

1)    Soon after taking a jump, did not raise a fluent gallop, kept swishing its tail and dropped back.

2)    His charge had previously developed an infection for which it was treated and the infection cleared after the treatment. Similar signs were again noticed in this race & also it was observed to be running in patches in the above Race.

3)    It had bad gate manners earlier, which has been rectified.

The Jockey corroborated the statements of the trainer & their explanations were noted for future reference. AGAPE (Akshay Kumar) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

An enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Stewards with respect to the riding of Jockey Laxman Singh, the rider of PALMA, in the presence of Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji, in the above race. In that:-
a)    Soon after the start, he has not exercised proper and sufficient control of his mount.

b)    Passing the red marker post, he has jostled and repeatedly bumped DOUBLE SCOTCH (V.R. Jagadeesh) on his inside, whereby he lost balance on his mount.

Jockey Laxman Singh was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Jockey Laxman Singh and after viewing the CCTV decided to charge Jockey Laxman Singh for failing to exercise proper control over his mount PALMA, in the above Race.

The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Laxman Singh for one (1) Race Day of Bangalore Summer Meeting 2026, i.e., on 23/05/2026, as he had pleaded guilty for failing to exercise proper control over his mount PALMA, in the above Race, in that, he repeatedly caused severe interference to DOUBLE SCOTCH (V R Jagadeesh), on his inside thereby
 
contravening Rule No. 161 (iii) of the BTC Rules of Racing. He is permitted to ride work and he was informed of his right to appeal.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of ENJOYABLE, trained by Mr. M Rajendra Singh and ridden by Jockey Kiran Rai P in the above race.

Surprise sample was taken for analysis from b f AGAPE.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g MAKOTO.
