Jockey A S Peter, the rider of METZINGER reported that his saddle shifted back passing the 300 Metres. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. P Krishna was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.

It was reported after the race that MAPLE LEAF (Brijesh Kumar V) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Vinesh V Naik was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the race that THE GOLDEN SUNRISE (N Ramesh Kumar) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. G T Surender was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S Imran was questioned by the Stipendiary Stewards in the presence of his Trainer, Mr. Saddam Iqbal, as to his riding on his mount SPLENDIDO, in the above race. Not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey S Imran, the Stipendiary Stewards decided as follows;

1. To fine Jockey S Imran a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) for not making sufficient effort to improve his position right from the Start till about entering the Straight, for no apparent reason. 

2. He was informed that he should make every effort to ride his mount in a judicious manner and that a repetition of a similar manner of riding in future, would entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action.

3. To note the explanations tendered by Trainer Mr. Saddam Iqbal.   

SPLENDIDO (S Imran) sustained bleeding cut on right fore back of pastern. 

It was reported after the race that MACRON (Shah Alam) apparently lost its left fore shoe during the race. 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g BLUEMED.
