Jockey H. Rahul, the rider of ABOSLUTE KESARI reported that his mount stopped galloping in the final 200 Metres of the Race. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination. On examination, it was found to have suffered from heat stress and was stiff on its hind quarters. Subsequently on 18th June, 2026, the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that the horse had sustained complete hip bone fracture and hence was euthanized on humanitarian grounds.
