Racing Incidents

It was observed that CONSTANT VARIABLE (C.Umesh) did not get a clear run between the 350 Metres and the 300 Metres, due a wall of horses in front of it.

Jockey B. Nikhil, the rider of STAG'S LEAP was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and tightening the horses on his inside viz., DECACORN (Ankush) and OCEAN (S.Antony Raj) passing the 300 Metres.

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of CONFIDENT GAME was fined Rs.5,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

OCEAN (S.Antony Raj) sustained bleeding injury on right hind outer cannon.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of GOLD RIDE, trained by Mr. Ramanathan R and ridden by Jockey Sah Farid Ansari in the above race.
