Racing Incidents

As Jockey Saikiran was certified medically unfit to ride. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Joseph B. Awale to declare Jockey Arul J.H in place of the declared rider.

The tongue strap of IMPERADOR (Vishal N Bunde) came undone before the start which was refastened by the handlers.

At the start PLEDGE jumped out Jockey Akshay Kumar struck his left foot on the outside of the gate and shortly afterwards bumped RAZZMATAZZ (Aditya Waydande).

Approaching 1500 meters PLEDGE (Akshay Kumar) shifted out and bumped LUCA (S. Sachin).

Approaching 1500 meters SHAHENSHAAH (Abdul Fazal) steadied from IMPERADOR (Vishal N Bunde).

It was reported after the race that LUCA (S. Sachin) burst its blood vessels ( Endoscopy - Grade II ). Trainer Mr. James Mckeown was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of ABSOLUTE THUNDER (Arul J.H), trained by Mr Joseph B. Awale and ridden by Jockey Arul J.H, in the above race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g IMPERADOR.
 
Permission was granted to Assistant trainer Mr. Vinod Reddy to deputize on behalf of Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala who was unable to attend the races.
