EBOTSE (Aleemuddin) raced keenly from 1000 metres to 900 metres and steadied on the heels of SASSY (Rajesh Kumar M).

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of STAR COMET, trained by Aravind G.and ridden by Jockey Akshay Kumar in the above race.

STAR COMET (Akshay Kumar) was subjected to veterinary examination. On examination no abnormality was reported.

Trainer Aravind G. and Jockey Akshay Kumar were questioned regarding the running of STAR COMET:-

The trainer stated that his instructions were for the mare to take a good jump and sit well up with the pace. He explained that the mare began smartly; however, due to horses shifting in front of her, she became settled midfield in running. The trainer added that he was satisfied with the manner in which the mare was ridden but felt that she was not ideally suited to a No Whip Race and would probably not be entered in such races in the future. Jockey Akshay Kumar confirmed the trainer's instructions and stated that he had advised the trainer that the mare performs better when the use of the whip is permitted. Their explanations were noted for future reference.
