On arrival at the starting gates, OLD FASHIONED (P. Trevor dr.5) was fractious and bolted off, subsequently the gelding was apprehended at the 2000 metres marker and with the consent of Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha the colt was permitted to race. As such, Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to school his charge to reach the starting gate in a timely manner.
 
At the start, ACROPOLIS (App. Kristish Bhagat, dr.1) whipped around , dislodged  its rider thereby taking no practical part in the race. As such, Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the colt in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter, before next accepting to race.
 
At the start ANTINO (A.Sandesh,dr 2) jumped  outwards thereby starting a chain reaction due to which HERMANUS (Yash Narredu,dr.3) , DAREDEVIL (S.J.Sunil, dr.4) and OLD FASHIONED (P.Trevor, dr.5) veered out and had to be steadied.
           
After the race, the Jockeys reported the following:
 
Jockey P. Trevor (OLD FASHIONED) reported that his mount was running erratic throughout the race despite his efforts. As such, Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
 
Jockey A. Sandesh (ANTINO) reported that his mount was shying away from the railing and running green throughout the race, despite his efforts. As such, Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been ask to take remedial measures, charge before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported the following:
 
OLD FASHIONED was trotted and found to be sound.
