SUGRIVA (Arjun) was slow into stride, losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

Explanation of Jockey Antony Raj S (MANDATE) that his instructions were to sit close 2nd which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter his mount was hanging in and leaning, as such he shifted in at about the 300 mtrs on to rails, to make his move, but his mount remained there and there and did not raise a winning gallop inspite of his best efforts, noted.

Explanation of Jockey Arjun (SUGRIVA) that his mount ran green throughout the race and in the process shifted out in the final 50 mtrs of the race forcing out ORIONVALE (Imran Chisty) inspite of his best efforts. As this confirmed out observation, no action beyond noting the explanation of Jockey was taken.

A Stewards enquiry was called immediately after the race into the incident of "removing of blindfolds on UNA PALOMA BLANCA (Surya Prakash) by the handlers at the gates after the start was given”. The Stewards acting on the report submitted by the Stipendiary Stewards and Starter, viewing the replay of the race on CCTV and acting on their own observation of the race, resolved to declare H. No. 4 -UNA PALOMA BLANCA (Surya Prakash) as a " Non-Starter" and ordered Clerk of the Scales to give “ All Clear”.
